Growing up in India, I had never explored surfing until I hit the Rockaway Beach on a breezy summer afternoon. It was refreshing to take a ferry ride, and be away from the bustle of city roads for a change. I saw how kids explore surfing and life fearlessly with so much joy. They have more fun than adults because they live from moment to moment. This little observation helped unburden myself from the mental baggages we carry growing up.
